1) How long have you been playing your instrument
I've been playing guitar for about 20 years. I started jamming with my school buddies in our parents basements.
2) At what age did you start listening to Metal
I started listening to metal in my teen years.....probably 13 or 14.
3) Which Band or Bands introduced you to Heavy Metal
I'd have to say early Metallica. I once heard a bunch of punk kids hangin' outside of a 7-11 cranking "Ride The Lightning" and I had to find out what it was they were playing!
4) What are some of your favourite Metal Bands
I like the classic metal bands the best. Metallica, Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath and Megadeth! Disturbed is one of the best metal bands around today. We toured with them on the "Indestructible" album and watching them every night was incredible! Also, if you believe that Alice in Chains is a metal band, they are one of my all time favorite bands. Their last album with William DuVall is awesome. You can't discount Soundgarden...they are a great band. A Perfect Circle's records are brilliant and I'm a big NIN fan as well.
5) In your opinion which Metal band is the true Grandfather of Heavy Metal
The early Iron Maiden records with Paul Di'Anno were awesome, but it has to be Black Sabbath!
6) Are there any other Genres or sub-genres set apart from your current style of music that you listen to personally.( if i was to look in your IPOD library what would we find)
When I'm on the road, I have some mellower stuff on my ipod to help me sleep on the bus like The Verve "Urban Hyms", Jeff Buckley, Ray LaMontagne, Alice in Chains "jar of Flies" and John Mayer. But I also crank up Faith No More, I Mother Earth, Pearl Jam and Led Zeppelin to name a few.
7) Was your choice of instrument, influenced in anyway by possible band postioning? (IE choose drums because you didn’t want to be up front)
I simply chose guitar when my friend and I talked about what instruments we should play so we could start jamming!
8)

We're a rock band that has classic roots with our vocal harmonies and guitar leads with a twist from the grunge era. Our lyrics hit people right in the heart and that is what matters. If our music is moving you, we're doing our job!
Our influences span from The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith, GNR, Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam and Stone Temple Pilots, A Perfect Circle and U2 to modern day bands like Three Days Grace.
9) What do you like or dislike about playing a live show?
I really like to hear the "realness" of a live performance. When you hear "Adele" perform you know it's real and heartfelt and that is awesome. I've seen Pearl Jam play live a few times and they are still in my top shows of all time because how real and in the moment the shows were. Also, Metallica is one of the best live bands I've ever seen. They also have that "realness" and the energy they give and receive from the audience is incredible!
10) Lastly what is the most F!cked up thing you have ever seen or experienced at a live show you have performed.
Watching a guy on a wheelchair crowdsurfing at one of our shows...........that was awesome!
