Its another Edition of 10 questions with...

Kaizen Sharx  "Lead Guitarist"

 1) How long have you been playing your instrument
     - I've ripped guitar for about 10 1/2 years!

2) At what age did you start listening to Metal
-I've listened to metal for as long as I can remember. It literally flows through my veins!

3)Which Band or Bands introduced you to Heavy Metal
-That would definitely have to be Pantera, and Dimes solos still blow my mind to this day.

4) What are some of your favourite Metal Bands
-Pantera, Slipknot, Korn, Lamb of God, Killswitch Engage, All That Remains, Static-X, The Acacia Strain, Rob Zombie, In This Moment, Trivium, Avenged Sevenfold, Black Label Society, Bullet for my Valentine, Guns' N' Roses, S.O.A.D

5) In your opinion which Metal band is the true Grandfather of Heavy Metal
-hmmm...what happens if I say.... Design the Skyline??  hahahahaha!!

6)      Are there any other Genres or sub-genres set apart from your current style of music that you listen to personally.( if i was to look in your IPOD library what would we find)
-Mostly my ipod is filled with metal, but occasionally I listen to some Green Day, Flyleaf, Paramore(I know, I know), Foo Fighters, Seether and new Trendemic+ songs and riffs in the works.

7)      Was your choice of instrument, influenced in anyway by possible band postioning?  (IE choose drums because you didn’t want to be up front)
-Not at all. I actually only picked up a guitar to show my brother that I learned a few chords, but.... I guess I never stopped XD

8) How would  you best describe your music and who are your influences
-The music I hear in my head and where I see the band headed is by far the most bad ass metal you could ever imagine. As a whole we all really only listen to songs that you could find yourself with a..eh ehm.."Broken Neck", too.
9)      What do you like or dislike about playing a live show?
-The biggest thing for me about live shows is how the music is completely different from listening to it through headphones or speakers. There's just SO much drive and bass in it. It's a totally different experience. The only way to know what I'm talking about is to get your ass to a metal show! I've only played out a few times in my 10+ years of guitar playing, but 2012 is going to be loaded with TONS of shows, so come out and catch one of Trendemics if you can!

10)   Lastly what is the most F!cked up thing you have ever seen or experienced at a live show you have performed.
-Well, this one time at Mayhemfest, I needed to use the bathroom, so I walked in and went. As I was leaving, I noticed this one guy walking out, and guess what. HE DIDN'T EVEN WASH HIS HANDS. 8O
And another time I stepped on a used band-aid while moshing. The whole pit stopped and helped me get it off the bottom of my shoe though, so no worries.*

*Don't believe anything I say. Ever.
Except this.

Trendemic+ would like to thank Broken Neck Radio for spinning our tracks!
We really appreciate it and look forward to working with you guys more!
