1) How long have you been playing your instrument

    ~roughly 20 years

 

2) At what age did you start listening to Metal

   ~EARLY!! around 7 I believe

 

3) Which Band or Bands introduced you to Heavy Metal

    ~KISS, Cheap Trick, Judas Priest, AC/DC, Iron Maiden

 

4) What are some of your favourite Metal Bands

    ~It depends how you define "metal" .. but for me it's...

Oldschool: Led Zeppelin, Thin Lizzy, Mötley Crüe, Skid Row, Warrant, Iron Maiden, KISS, Judas Priest, Ozzy, Motörhead, Metallica, Slayer, Testament, Overkill, Pantera, Jackyl, Guns N' Roses, Van Halen, Def Leppard, L.A. Guns etc etc

 

Newschool: A Day To Remember, Five Finger Death Punch, Picture me Broken, Black Veil Brides, Sonic Syndicate, Volbeat, Pop Evil, Papa Roach, Sixx A.M, All That Remains, Sevendust, Demon Hunter, Hatebreed, The Devil Wears Prada etc etc

 

5) In your opinion which Metal band is the true Grandfather of Heavy Metal

   ~Sabbath .. for sure

 

6) Are there any other Genres or sub-genres set apart from your current style of music that you listen to personally.(if i was to look in your IPOD library what would we find)

   ~My current style of music is ALL styles of music .. I literally listen to ALL forms of music ... I love rock, metal, country, (oldschool) rap .. I listen to it ALL lol

 

And if you searched my iPod you'd find everything from Britney Spears to Slayer .. Reba to Five Finger Death Punch (and NO, I am NOT kidding lol)

 

7) Was your choice of instrument, influenced in anyway by possible band postioning? (IE choose drums because you didn’t want to be up front)

    ~No, I chose drums because it was the only thing I could ACTUALLY play .. it's actually a REALLY funny story how I became a drummer .. ask me sometime, I'll tell ya haha

 

8) How would you best describe your music and who are your influences

   ~My music would be best described as, whatever strikes my fancy at any given moment. One Last is best bescribed as "the best of 80's hair metal mixed with the best of modern rock/metal" .. Like if, Skid Row and Buckcherry had a baby, it'd be One Last

 

My influences are all over the place lol .. Tommy Lee, Robert Sweet, Peter Criss, Vik Foxx, Dave Lambardo, Neil Peart, Elvis, Buddy Holly, Jani Lane, Sebastian Bach, Jon Bon Jovi, Prince, Meatloaf .. this list could literally go on forever lol

 

9) What do you like or dislike about playing a live show?

    ~Like: playing, drinking, showing off, watching people sing our songs back to us, watching my musical brothers do what they do best!! hanging with friends old and new, naked girls!!!

 

Dislike: the set ending!!!

 

10) Lastly what is the most F!cked up thing you have ever seen or experienced at a live show you have performed.

     ~haha there isn't enough room here to put it all .. and besides, if I told you, I'd have to IMMEDIATELY deny everything I said and disaccociate myself with all parties involved and then IMMEDIATELY turn myself over to the witness protection program
